During our YTTC, you are going to learn about anatomical and physiological aspects of your body that we are going to work on during the yoga practice. This is a fundamental subject when it comes to physical practice and your future as a teacher. It is useful in understanding the health benefits, avoiding injuries and therapeutic benefits of asanas. Learning about the functions of the body and how to apply this knowledge will be our core focus. Following this practical and documented approach, you are going to realize all the benefits and actions of yoga for your physical and mental wellness.
Several times we separate yoga from meditation and how this practice is really necessary to deepen our yoga practice. Learning to meditate could seem quite tricky at first but, during the course with our teachers will responsibly guide you. You are going to explore several different active and passive meditation techniques that allow one to be in the present moment. Meditation is one big part of your yoga journey and it will have a lot of attention during our teacher training.
You will have necessary information, tips and guidance in order to become a prepared and competent teacher. Lessons will involve demonstration, adjustments and, one-by-one approach to follow every student during their journey. You will learn not only how to structure and organize a class properly but also improve your own practice. There will be a major focus on hands-on-adjustments, individual care of each student and dealing with injuries and safety.
You are going to try several styles of Yoga. Beside Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga will be a big part of your course. You gonna learn different types of sun salutation and how to perform them correctly. When you are becoming a teacher, you need to know how the perfect posture should look like. Within our alignment classes, you going to learn how to correct and to vary your asanas.
Pranayama means “extension of prana” or “breath control”. Breathing control is inseparable when you are learning to become a Yoga teacher. You will understand how breathing is channelized to attain a controlled state of mind. Learn to understand the mechanics behind Kumbakha Pranayama (breath retention), Nadi Shodhana Pranayama (Channel Cleaning Breath), Ujjayi Pranayama (Conqueror breath), Kapalbhati Pranayama (Skull shining technique) and many others.
Naturopathy is an ancient branch of knowledge on how to heal the body with 5 elements of the Nature i.e. Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space. Yogis have always known how to revive their well-being and that’s what Yoga Adi aspires to share with their students as an exclusive feature to the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course. Students gets to cleanse toxins from the body, attuning the immune system back to its true nature. Total intestinal cleansing, abdominal mud packs, face packs, eye packs, and enema are the part of Naturopathy regime at Yoga Adi School of Yoga.
Set mind patterns can keep manifesting the same situations in our lives over and over, restricting us to a certain set of emotional reactions, such as; guilt, fear, sadness, anxiety, etc. The Emotional Body Detox takes you on a journey, where you purify your body and mind from the unnecessary physical and emotional stress. Massage of various pressure points is performed on the students and a detailed explanation is given about the physiology of the whole session.

This technique helps in dilution and releasing of physical tension allowing a free flow of blood circulation resulting in the effective nervous system, an easy and light body.
